Pimp My Friends-Giving

My friend is in from out of town and staying with me for the week. I love to cook, so I’m considering this our first Friends-Giving. Funny, last year we spent Thanksgiving in unit. We’ve been through a lot together, bother hilarious and traumatic, and it’s nice to be together, carefree for once.

I whipped up Steak & Eggs for breakfast. Chip steak, eggs, onion, fresh peppers, salsa, ficcaca bread, cream cheese, topped with sour cream, fresh herbs and avocado.

Tonight, I made us fried chicken that was simmered in curry sauce and fresh basil, poured over red quinoa & butter, with syrupy sweet potatoes on the side and topped with dill.

Needless to say, we’re stuffed and cooking for her is miles beyond our faux turkey thanksgiving meal we shared together last year. It’s nice to be cooking for someone again!
