Plaster Caster – A Stroke by Number Pottery Studio.

Good morning! I didn’t get breakfast in bed, but my mind is in the gutter, serving up dirty thoughts.

I’m rooting through my art supplies this morning, and came across my first vase that I made in a country art studio, years ago. No shame, although, believe it or not, it was all accidental. Even the glaze.

I posted it on Facebook and already have a buyer. But this piece isn’t for sale.

Which led me to a friggin’ amazing idea that would undoubtedly work: Porn & Pottery.

Now hear me out. It’d be these studios across the world, akin to those painting studios that serve wine for budding artists. Cept…mine would be pottery. Serving cocktails and educating beginners.

I already have the names picked out:

Austin, TX – Plaster Caster

Vegas – Chicks & Dicks – Getting in Touch with Your Inner Dick, One Stroke at a Time.

Vegas for the Gents – Cock Block

For the Country Bumpkins – Cock & Kiln – A Stroke by Number Pottery Studio.

Paris – Coop de Cock

Beverly Hills & NYC – Pearl Necklace Pottery

Milan, Italy – BLOW – a specialized glass blowing studio.

Denver & Seattle – Suck It … or … Glaze & Blaze – A Cock & Cannabis Pottery Studio

New Orleans – Happy Endings Pottery

Assitique Island – Hung Like a Horse

Paul Bunyan Territory – Wild Oats

Massachusetts – Plymouth Cock

Cruise Ships – There She Blows …. or … Moby Dick

The North Pole – Naughty & Nice … or … Ho, Ho, Ho

Cowboy Country – Saddle Tramp Studios, or Giddy Up!, or RIDE

Citizens Bank Park – Stroke Three, or Home Run Studios

Therapeutic Centers for the Newly Divorced – Dicks & Divorcees

I’d even consider a special pottery studio for the gentleman out there wanting to get in touch – Pottery is for Pussies.

Some nice historical background in the name. I learned all about Plaster Casting in my film class in 1981.

My friend told me about her yesterday. I read up on her a bit. She’s a recovering groupie. Very interesting…I’m a fan. Do you still work in film?

No, I work in finance for a racial justice org. Film was for an art credit.
